About Me
Hello! I am Dr. Purvi Kamath, a pediatrician dedicated to caring for children’s health and well-being. My special interests include child development, nutrition, breastfeeding support, and immunisation. I have extensive experience in treating various childhood illnesses and in newborn care.
I completed my MBBS from Dr. VM Government Medical College, Solapur, and went on to pursue MD Pediatrics at Sion Hospital, Mumbai, where I graduated with a gold medal and ranked 3rd in Maharashtra. I also hold a DNB in Pediatrics and am a certified lactation counsellor with BPNI Maharashtra.
Over the years, I have gained valuable experience through senior residency at both Sion Hospital and Rajiv Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, Kalwa. I have also worked at Bethany Hospital, Thane, and continue to provide pediatric care at various hospitals and clinics. Alongside clinical practice, I have presented my work at national forums and published two research papers in international journals.
My goal is to offer holistic, compassionate, and evidence-based care for every child, while supporting parents in their journey through growth, development, and preventive health.
